Christian Hansl to take over as new Group CEO in June 2026
Hard (A). The faigle Group, a leading supplier of engineering plastics solutions and heavy-duty components for industry, is restructuring its management team and bringing on board Christian Hansl, an experienced industrial manager. He will be appointed as the new CEO of the faigle Group in June. At the same time, the current CEO, Friedrich Faigle, will join the Executive Board of faigle Holding and assume its chairmanship. The family-owned company, headquartered in Hard, is setting a new course in leadership to drive sustainable growth and faster decision-making processes.
At faigle, everything revolves around engineering plastics and plastic solutions, from processing and manufacturing to distribution. The family-run company from Hard (Vorarlberg), which has been in existence for nearly eight decades, has locations in Austria, Switzerland, and China. With current changes within the faigle Group, the company is setting an important course for the future.
Change in Operational Leadership
There is a new appointment to the management of the faigle Group, headquartered in Hard. Starting in June 2026, Christian Hansl (54) will assume this position. A native of Upper Austria, he is an experienced industrial manager with over 20 years of leadership experience. Hansl holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Graz University of Technology and a master’s degree from Oakland University (USA). During his career, he was responsible, among other things, for strategic development and the expansion of international production sites as COO at the Welser Profile Group, before most recently successfully steering the global realignment of the Miba Sinter Group—with 2,300 employees worldwide—as CEO. “With Christian Hansl, we are gaining a leader who combines international expertise with a deep understanding of medium-sized family-owned businesses,” says Friedrich Faigle of the owner family and former CEO of faigle.
Friedrich Faigle Appointed New Member of the faigle Holding Executive Board
Concurrent with Hansl’s appointment as CEO, Friedrich Faigle is joining faigle Holding and will become a member of its Executive Board. In this new role, he will focus more intensively on the long-term development and strategic tasks of the family-owned company. By separating ownership and management in this way, faigle is creating the best conditions for a focused strategic direction while simultaneously strengthening operational leadership.
Realignment for the Future
With this realignment, faigle aims to position itself as effectively as possible for the future. “We are strengthening the group through external expertise while maintaining continuity on the ownership side,” emphasizes Friedrich Faigle, adding: “This decision is also a clear commitment to our locations in Europe and Asia and ensures faigle’s future viability as an innovation leader in plastics technology.”
