Faster and more flexible
faigle Industrieplast trades in semi-finished products made of thermoplastic materials, which are individually tailored to customer requirements. One area is the production of profile and sliding bars. With the new Powermat 1500 planing and moulding machine, these can now be produced even faster, more flexibly and at a lower cost – especially in higher quantities and complex geometries.
The Powermat 1500 is made by Weinig - a machine manufacturer for high-quality machining requirements. It was adapted to the special requirements from faigle. For example, semi-finished products made of thermoplastic materials can now be planed, milled and moulded into four-sided sliding and profile bars. There are over 40 profile tools available to the machining specialists.
For example, faigle can supply the machine and plant construction industry, the food industry, intralogistics or railways even faster, more flexibly and more cost-effectively.
For medium to high volumes, faigle offers an extremely economical alternative to the extrusion process. With the Powermat 1500, top quality and highly stable profile bars can be produced without producing start-up scrap and high tool costs. Even complex geometries that cannot be produced by the extrusion process are possible - with the tightest tolerances and over long lengths.
Other benefits of faigle sliding bars are their excellent functional and sliding properties. This is because the core strength of the faigle group is proprietary plastics that have been modified for sliding. These are self-lubricating and minimise wear from sliding.
